Buyer and Seller feedback explained

We encourage all members to provide genuine, honest feedback that is helpful both to the recipient and to the wider Flippa community.

Flippa values open communication and trust. Therefore, we do not edit or censor feedback. However, we may remove any content that:

  • Violates our user behavior policy 

  • Contains prohibited content as defined in our policies

  • It is agreed upon for removal by both parties involved (the person who posted the feedback and the person about whom the feedback was posted)

Posting feedback

  • Feedback can be posted on individual user profiles and/or specific listings.

  • All feedback is public and visible to any Flippa user.

  • A member’s feedback score appears on their profile and alongside their username wherever it appears on the site.

  • Feedback requests are automatically sent 2 weeks after a listing is marked as “won.” These invitations expire after 120 days.

Rules for feedback

  • Buyers may not offer positive reviews in exchange for goods, services, or refunds unrelated to the original transaction.

  • Sellers may not demand positive reviews in return for money, compensation, refunds, or goods and services not included in the original sale.

  • Members must not conspire to artificially increase each other’s feedback or attempt to damage another member’s reputation through repeated, unwarranted negative feedback.

  • Feedback may be removed if a user made an error during posting.

Resolving feedback issues

If you have concerns after a sale or about feedback that has been posted, we encourage you to try resolving the issue directly with the other party. If that isn’t possible, please contact our support team for assistance.

Please note:

  • Unless feedback violates our Terms of Service, prohibited content policy, or banned behavior policy, it will not be removed simply at the request of the recipient.

  • Flippa does not process feedback removal requests unless they come from the person who originally posted the feedback.
