How it works

Follow the instructions in this article if you use Flippa's Xero Data Integration. This integration enables you to automatically sync and update your monthly revenue, expenses, and profit from Xero to your Flippa listing.

  • Log in to Xero using your Email address and Password

  • Enter the 6-digit code found in your authenticator app

  • Select the organization you want to integrate and continue

Note: It can take a few minutes for your data to display in your listing. To confirm that the integration has been successful, go to edit your listing and go to Integrations. You will see that is either connected or syncing, and will be able to disconnect at any time.

Can I disconnect my Xero account when I have established a connection?

  • Yes, you will be able to disconnect your account at any time

When can I connect my listing to Xero?

  • You can either establish the connection when you are building your listing or once it is live. Just go to Edit Listing and proceed from the Integrations section.

What data will be pulled from Xero? 

  • We collect what is necessary to display historic revenue and expenses.
  • Upon connection. We will collect the total monthly revenue and total monthly expenses over the last 12 months
  • Monthly, we refresh the connection to display the month that has ended.

Will I be sharing sensitive business data, such as customers or suppliers if I connect my Xero account?

  • No, we will only show the total revenue and expenses broken down on a month-by-month basis.

I manage multiple businesses, and for this purpose, I have several accounts in Xero. Will the data be unified? 

  • No, when connecting you will be asked to select the entity you want to integrate with your listing.
