Types of Verification Badges
Flippa offers two types of verification badges:
Data Verified
This badge means data from one or more third-party platforms has been securely connected to your listing. The data is read-only and cannot be edited by either the seller or Flippa. Platforms that can be connected include:
-
Google Analytics
-
Google AdSense
-
Google AdMob
-
Shopify
-
Stripe
-
WooCommerce
-
QuickBooks
Vetted by Flippa
This badge applies to listings priced $50,000 USD or more. The Flippa Vetting Team conducts manual reviews to verify key aspects of the business:
Revenue
Sellers provide platform access directly to Flippa. If this isn’t possible, a remote session is arranged to view the revenue data in real time.
Primary Expenses
Sellers must either send relevant invoices or display them during a remote session for verification.
Traffic
Where available, Google Analytics is connected directly via Flippa’s integration. If GA is not used, traffic data is reviewed from platforms such as Shopify or Amazon Seller Central. Other platforms may also be reviewed depending on the business.
For Sellers
To get your listing verified and live as quickly as possible, please provide the requested data promptly.
Verified listings build Buyer confidence, leading to quicker engagement and higher-quality inquiries.
If you’re unable to provide the required verification data, your listing will be canceled and fully refunded.
For Buyers
Listings with the Vetted by Flippa badge have gone through a human-led verification process. This adds a critical layer of trust so you can feel more confident when exploring high-value opportunities.
For Brokers
Brokered listings are handled by Flippa’s trusted partner network. These brokers perform their own human verification process before publishing listings on the marketplace.
