How to edit a listing on Flippa

You can edit many aspects of your listing on Flippa, including the description, title, opening bid, Auction end date, Reserve Price, and Buy It Now (BIN) price.

• When your listing is in draft:
  All details can be edited freely.

• When your listing is live:
  Some fields become restricted and may not be editable, especially if the listing is under review, bids have already been placed, or if certain price thresholds have already been met (e.g., Reserve Price).

How to edit a listing

1. Go to Dashboard > Selling > Listings / Drafts to view your listings.

2. Select the listing you wish to edit.

3. On your listing page, click the Edit Listing button.

4. Make your changes in the various sections as needed.
   
   Note: Some fields may remain locked while your listing is live or under review.

  • Month-by-month breakdowns are important for the most recent trailing 12 months.

  • Graphs are generated to help Buyers visualize historical performance.

  • Financials should be kept up to date each month during the sales process.

• Primary Expenses

  • Useful for uploading supporting evidence for any claims made in the listing.

Set Your Pricing

• Asking Price

  • This can usually be updated while live. However, the platform may block you from editing it depending on the value you're attempting to change it to.

• Payment method

  • Choose how you’d like to receive payment from a Buyer.

Review Listing

• Identifies any required actions before going live.

• Provides suggestions for possible improvements to strengthen your listing.
