In order to ensure fair marketplace practices and maintain Buyer trust, Flippa has established listing price requirements based on asset type and performance. This guide outlines the maximum pricing guidelines you must follow when listing your asset for sale.

 

 

New / Starter / Template / Non-Revenue Generating Assets

  • Maximum asking (classified) or reserve (auction) price: $9,999 USD or equivalent

  • These include newly built websites, pre-made templates, or websites without verified revenue or user data.

Revenue-Generating Businesses

  • Under $1,000,000 USD in annual revenue:

    • Maximum asking (classified) or reserve (auction) price: 8x verified annual revenue

    • This applies to established businesses generating consistent income and performance metrics.

  • Over 1,000,000 USD in annual revenue:

    • Maximum asking (classified) or reserve (auction) price: 2x our valuation

    • A formal valuation is required. This pricing cap helps ensure transparency and reasonable pricing for high-value assets.

 

Projects & Concepts

  • Maximum asking price: $999,999

  • These listings don't show the value of the asking price but are Open to Offers, and include early-stage projects, MVPs (Minimum Viable Products), or concepts without revenue history or customer base.

Non-Profitable Businesses

  • Maximum Listing Price: 1x Verified Revenue

  • This includes businesses operating at a net loss.

  • Important Exception: SaaS businesses may be listed using a revenue multiple (subject to approval).

 

Domain-Only Listings (No Content)

  • Maximum asking (classified) or reserve (auction) price: $250,000 USD

  • If pricing pver $9,999 USD, you must contact Flippa Support for approval and verification.

  • These are domains only that do not include websites, content, or monetization.
