Here in the US attorneys are going after websites that are not in ADA compliance. They're suing from 2 - 20K and most companies settle to avoid expensive litigation. I was informed that the ADA software is around 25K. I have been looking at purchasing a website sometime in the future, but now I am wondering if it is too risky based on this recent development. I was curious if anyone has experience or guidance on this issue?
Here is a local article on the topic:https://www.news10.com/news/national/businesses-sitting-ducks-for-lawsuits-because-websites-aren-t-ada-compliant/1761894112
Thank you for any input.
