Why should I pay and communicate through Flippa directly?

Paying and communicating through Flippa ensures that you are protected under our Terms of Service and payment protections. It also makes it easy to find and reference important details and attachments pertaining to a sale. 

We know that from time to time you may need to have a discussion or negotiation outside of Flippa but always bring your dialogue back to the platform.

Unfortunately Flippa cannot provide any protections where a sale isn't paid for directly through Flippa.

Paying or communicating outside of Flippa makes it harder for us to protect your information and put you at a greater risk of fraud and other security issues.

Report suspicious messages.
Never pay for something outside Flippa. Use the provide payment mechanisms including Paypal, Escrow.com or other Flippa prescribed payment solution.

If someone asks you to pay or accept payment for an asset listed on Flippa outside of our payment system - or you suspect someone of falsifying details - report this immediately to Support@Flippa.com. The case will be referred to our Marketplace Integrity team and investigated. 

If you didn't pay or accept payment through Flippa, you may have paid for something fraudulent.

When you have successfully accepted or had an offer accepted you will be taken to the Flippa Sales Completion Area. You will find a Letter of Intent and Contract of Sale template and post sales advice and support. 

This section is where a payment happens and Flippa's protections via our partner Escrow.com and other Flippa payment partners is available.
