Q. A Flippa seller has sent in a Support Request, indicating that they have received a PayPal payment from a Flippa user for the BIN amount for their Flippa listing, however their listing has not closed, or the listing has closed with the highest bidder declared the winner - what do I do?

A. The procedure to fix this issue is as follows ;

1. From the Flippa listing in question, select the Bid Management link, in the Manage Listing menu when viewing the listing.
2. Underneath the list of accepted bids and users whose bids are auto-accepted, you will see a list of PayPal attempts. if you have confirmed with the seller
the username of the user who submitted the BIN bid, select the ” Force ” button ” next to the PayPal attempt. This should ideally modify the listing
to declare the BIN bid as the winner, however if this doesn't work, email or speak to Chris requesting him to manually force the BIN bid on the listing.
4. Respond to the seller in Zendesk, confirming that their listing has been modified to declare the PayPal BIN bid as the winner. In the event that their listing had closed with the highest bidder declared the winner, advise the seller that he/she must contact the highest bidder to explain that their bid on the listing was not successful, and to explain to them the situation. Insert into the Zendesk ticket the macro entitled ” Seller PayPal IPN Issue Fix ”, which gives the seller instructions on logging into to PayPal to update their PayPal IPN information.

Q. A Flippa buyer sends in a Support Request, indicating that they have submitted a PayPal payment via the BIN option on a Flippa listing, however the listing has not closed with their BIN bid declared the winner, or the listing has closed with the highest bidder declared the winner - help!

OK, here's what you do :

1. Respond to the buyer through Zendesk requesting the PayPal transaction ID for their BIN payment on the listing.
2. Once the buyer responds providing a PayPal transaction ID, from the Flippa listing in question, select the Bid Management link, in the Manage Listing menu when viewing the listing.
3. Underneath the list of accepted bids and users whose bids are auto-accepted, you will see a list of PayPal attempts. Select the ” Force ” button ” next to the PayPal attempt made by the buyer. This should ideally modify the listing to declare the buyer's BIN bid as the winner, however if this doesn't work, email or speak to Chris requesting him to manually force the BIN bid on the listing.
4. Respond to the buyer in Zendesk, confirming that the listing has been modified to declare their PayPal BIN bid as the winner, and to contact the seller to arrange transfer of the listing contents through the Sale Completion Area.
