Once an auction or sale is completed or won, and the seller and winning buyer are sent each other's details, Flippa's role is limited.
Flippa facilitates the listing, location, and bid or offer processes. We also provide the Sale Completion Area to enable buyers and sellers to communicate after the auction or sale is completed.
Flippa can't oversee the payment process or the exchange of property. Unfortunately, we're unable to offer assistance in cases where an exchange doesn't go as planned.
Both the buyer and seller should take care in the purchase or sale of any property, and establish an appropriate level of trust before they place or accept bids or offers.
To help buyers and sellers access information on auctions and sales, and take responsibility for their actions on the site, Flippa provides:
Automatic validation of certain seller-supplied information on the property
- Warnings to alert buyers to mismatches between publicly available information and that supplied by the seller
A link to Flippa escrow services to ensure that no money changes hands until both parties are happy with the exchange
A dispute process that can be initiated by either buyers or sellers if the transaction or transfer isn't completed
